Our High Beam approach will enable you to see beyond the horizon, and reach your goals.
We help organizations develop and achieve technology goals that set them apart in their market. To get started, it is important for us to understand your specific needs, so let’s have a quick chat about your goals or challenges. Together we can design a service offering that best fits your situation. Below are some key areas in which we specialize.
Technology Strategy Consulting
How does your organization use technology tools to gain competitive advantage? The answer to this question is directly tied to the health and, dare we say, survival of your organization. In order to make strategic decisions, a holistic understanding of your organizations technology assets and operations is vital. In our Digital Maturity Program we assess the way you harness digital tools and develop processes throughout your organization; we make recommendations and develop plans of action to help you realize your future aspirations.
Education
We have a range of education available throughout the year. These courses are hosted at the FPOV main office and many are also streamed digitally. Public courses offer the opportunity for leaders to interact with FPOV specialists and consultants while learning in a collaborative environment with executives from other organizations and industries.
Digital Marketing Consulting
Digital marketing has become such a bloated buzzword. But, it is more than a website, social channels, and pay-per-click campaigns. It is how you use technology to reach out to your customers and improve their experience with your organization. We help you discover the areas where you can maximize your interactions with customers and have a personalized one-to-one connection while improving your online presence and developing a funnel so critical data can be properly utilized throughout your organization’s engagement efforts.
IT Infrastructure
It may not be flashy, like its cousin digital marketing, but IT infrastructure is the foundation of your organization. Your devices, servers, network, hardware, software and other pieces of technology must be working in tandem to move the organization forward. Yet, often we see organizations stuck with a chaotic accumulation of software and hardware that would make Frankenstein cringe. We help organizations unite their technology infrastructure so data can flow easily, and employees can do their work more effectively and efficiently.
Digital Maturity Services
Digital Maturity Assessments
We have identified nine dimensions of digital maturity and have developed comprehensive assessments for each one of these dimensions. The assessments each feature a series of questions that help us define an organization’s level of digital maturity in that area. Individuals taking the assessment will be immediately presented with a scorecard that indicates a level of maturity for their organization. These assessments are typically taken by 10-15 individuals across an organization. Assessments can be taken standalone, although they are typically followed by a Digital Maturity Gap Analysis.
Additional information about the Digital Maturity Assessments can be found here.
Digital Maturity Gap Analysis
TriCorps consultants will review your systems, culture, processes, and overall technology approach to help determine the gap between where you are (your current state) and where you’d like to be (your future state). We help determine what you need to bridge the gap between the two. A gap analysis helps reveal what you specifically need to achieve your goals and ensure that your technology strategy is aligned with those goals.
Typically, a gap analysis begins with on-site interviews between TriCorps consultants and leadership and team members across an organization. These interviews, as well as a thorough review of relevant materials, help us develop a comprehensive recommendations report. This report is typically presented on-site by a TriCorps consultant.
In most cases, a gap analysis is begun after an organization has undergone some level of the TriCorps Digital Maturity Assessment.
Governance Consulting
Governance Consulting is highly specific based on the needs of each individual organization. It typically involves on site meetings between an TriCorps consultant or engineering specialist and an organization’s leadership. Our consulting is based on the 28 elements of governance that we’ve identified. After a review of these elements, we help organizations prioritize which of these elements could help improve organizational governance and the order in which these elements should be enacted.
While our governance consulting is specific to every organization, we often help organizations strengthen their enterprise architecture. We uncover the EA strategy that best fits an organization’s needs, budget, skills, and plans. This helps equip a stable technology base on which to build and grow.
Additionally, we often help organizations establish a Steering Committee. In these engagements, TriCorps, over a period of months, will help establish, kick off, and set in motion a SteerCo that will ultimately guide technology decision making. This process typically includes:
- Provision of SteerCo artifacts such as process documents and templates
- Guidance selecting SteerCo members
- TriCorps Technologies to lead the first SteerCo meeting
- Attendance on a few subsequent SteerCo meetings to offer advice and guidance as well as reasonable continued guidance until the SteerCo feels comfortable acting independently
Guideposts Technology Strategy
Guideposts are strategic, aspirational statements that guide efforts and investments. They’re broader than goals. They target areas for competitive advantage that narrow the focus of technology strategy so investments of time and money make a true market impact. Guideposts are long-range, big concepts that dictate the more detailed elements of executing with technology on a day-to-day basis.
In a Guidepost engagement, we help organizations select their specific Guideposts that will navigate technology strategy moving forward.
These engagements typically follow a Gap Analysis.
TriCorps consultants will meet with select members of the organization and lead a Guideposts Strategy Session. In these sessions, an organization will select its guideposts and begin creating actionable steps to meet them. These meetings are characteristically held yearly so that progress can be charted, Guideposts can be readjusted, and the team can be realigned.
High Beam Strategy
High Beam leaders are those who can recognize trends and react to them quickly to give their organizations competitive advantage. The leaders who adopt a High Beam strategy are the ones who can see the furthest into the future, anticipate what’s ahead, and push their organizations at high speeds.
In a High Beam Strategy engagement, we focus on developing leaders so they can:
- Identify Trends: Forecast trends in the industry that will be impactful
- Create a View of the Future: Build an illustration of what the future will look like in their industry
- Create a Plan of Action: Develop a blueprint on how to guide the organization into an anticipated future and seize opportunities for growth
Our High Beam Strategy Sessions are led by a TriCorps consultant and can be held for a select group of leaders at an organization, where we work to develop a High Beam strategy for an organization. We also hold a public course devoted to teaching High Beam leadership.

We have a six-step process to help you institutionalize the building of Rivers of Information into your organization as well as a tool-based checklist of details that will help your team develop high-quality rivers. The process follows
- Identify useful sources of information
- Implement technology tools to aggregate this information
- Develop processes for harnessing this information
- Ensure accountability methods are in place for team members to grow their own rivers

Digital Marketing Services
Digital Marketing Strategy
It is our aim to help our clients create a “technology halo.” This is when you use digital tools so effectively to reach consumers that they use your services because of this, and they speak about your organization glowingly to their networks.
Our digital marketing strategy is specific for every organization that we help. Yet we focus on several areas including:
Mobility: With mobile devices becoming the primary means customers will engage with an organization, we are laser focused on crafting strategies that will most effectively utilize these devices. This includes most especially in the design of web properties.
Customer Experience: This is the foundation of digital marketing. How you reach out to customers, how they find you, what tools you use, and your website’s usability and design should all correspond to how your customers would wish to engage with you.
Relationship Journey Mapping: Discovering how customers want to engage with you is most effectively accomplished through relationship journey mapping. Proper journey mapping allows you to walk alongside your customers on their journey with you. In short, it helps shift your thinking so every decision you make puts the customers’ needs at the forefront. For more on our relationship journey mapping process click here.
Digital Revenue Engine: Effective digital marketing requires the efforts of many different tools. These tools must all be working in tandem and be smoothly sharing information. If they’re not, it can derail progress. A digital revenue engine is much like the engine of a car, with separate parts working together to make the machine run. We help organizations build an effective digital revenue engine so that data and information is shared across tools and software to most efficiently and effectively maximize customer engagement. Relationship Journey Mapping
Relationship Journey Mapping is about seeing an experience from a constituent’s perspective, whether that be a customer, patient, client, member, or employee. Journey mapping walks with this person as they engage with your organization, from the time they recognize they have a problem and consider your organization to help them solve it, up to when they speak about your organization to their networks, whether online or off. During this journey, there are opportunities for you to reach out to this person. Journey mapping helps you maximize this opportunity by providing the most value you can in the best way you can in the proper moment.
Many firms are currently helping organizations with Relationship Journey Mapping. Our approach is unique because it focuses on technology and using technology to most effectively deliver a message. You can read more about our journey mapping process here.
It is our hope that our clients will continue to practice journey mapping long after any engagement with us has ended. That is why we are committed to teaching our clients how to effectively map journeys while providing them with the tools to do so. We give our clients the development tools to continue the practice long into the future.

Technology Blueprinting
TriCorps Blueprints are a large format, highly detailed set of visualizations that document and memorialize an organization’s network, software, or data layers of technology. They are compared to the blueprints of a house, because they visualize information that is critical in the development of technology infrastructure.
Blueprints illustrate the interconnectivity of important components and identify areas of concern for each asset, layer, and connection point. They are an excellent resource to facilitate healthy communication and understanding across the technology team and business executives.
We offer three levels of visualization with our technology blueprints:
Level 1: All the pieces of software you own and the primary pieces of software you utilize most often
Level 2: How the pieces of software relate to each other and how this software interacts with data
Level 3: The details of specific software and the data assets within these pieces of software
Clients will receive hard and soft copies of all the blueprints we create, and these blueprints will become the property of the client.
Vendor Selection Assistance
Choosing a vendor is one of the most important decisions an organization can make. These are lasting (and expensive) relationships that can either lead to good partnerships or bad. The health of this partnership is directly tied to making the right selection.
From developing an RFP to interviewing vendors to being part of the final vendor selection process, TriCorps Technologies will offer our guidance through this difficult yet critical decision. Our experienced team understands the pitfalls of vendor selection and can help leaders avoid these pitfalls while ensuring that vendor selection will be a smooth process in which leaders are making good decisions while protecting their organizations from harmful decisions or missed opportunities.
Vendor Relationship & Contracting Process
The Vendor Relationship & Contracting Process was developed by TriCorps with a team of technologists and legal advisors to equip you to look out for your organization’s best interests and establish excellent agreements from the start from vendor selection. It is designed to set up your team and your organization for the best possible outcome. The process is a comprehensive and updated document outlining questions that should be asked of potential vendors, legal issues to recognize and legal language to use in contracts, checklists and tips for maximizing negotiations, and much more.
In addition to this, the team at TriCorps Technologies will provide a kick-off two-hour training session and an additional 12-14 hours of hands-on coaching and guidance in your first deal. This will teach you how to apply the process and equip you to use it in the future. Your purchase also qualifies you for a “ride along” from your consultant with your first negotiation. For more information about our process you can visit here.
Project Assessment & Rescue
Major projects can be an expensive and time-consuming headache, especially when things aren’t going right. When deadlines are being missed, arguments are arising, and fingers are being pointed, it can be helpful for a third party to assess the core issues plaguing the project. This is an area where TriCorps’ experienced consulting staff can help.
The Project Assessment & Rescue service helps diagnosis and recommend solutions for problem-plagued major projects. TriCorps provides a fresh and impartial look at the entire project while delivering an overall project health assessment. This assessment involves recommendations that can be utilized to get projects back on track. Our approach to assess your project generally consists of the following major steps:
- Project Collateral Review
- Project Participant Interviews
- Project Criteria Scoring (using TriCorps’ proprietary Project Scoring tool)
- Project Assessment Report
This report is delivered to organizational leadership by a TriCorps consultant either in-person or through a virtual meeting tool.
Cybersecurity
It is our drive to constantly be providing value to our clients. A critical need today is securing digital assets. Our cybersecurity division combines the law enforcement experience of TriCorps Security with the technology expertise of TriCorps Technologies to form a comprehensive cybersecurity practice. We offer a wide range of services including employee education and testing, forensics, vulnerability monitoring, audits and assessments, risk analysis, and much more.
Education Services
Executive Education
Our Executive Education is designed to create Technology Leaders who can effectively incorporate digital tools into their organizations while creating cultures of innovation that thrive in transformation. We offer three different methods of education.
Public Courses: We have a range of public courses available throughout the year. These courses are hosted at FPOV’s main office outside of Oklahoma City. Public courses offer the opportunity for leaders to interact with FPOV specialists and consultants while learning in a collaborative environment with executives from other organizations and industries. A list of our public courses is available here.
Private Courses: Our private education is available for executives who want to educate a larger portion of their team on a specific topic in their comfort of their own offices. An FPOV consultant will travel to the organization to teach a larger group on the selected topic. Our private courses are tailored to meet the challenges an organization faces both internally and within its specific industry. This environment can help team members begin conversations around the topic that can lead to larger change. For a look at our private course offerings you can visit here.
eLearning: eLearning allows a large team or even an entire organization to get up to speed on a topic at any pace and with the ease of an online tool. These courses are taught by an FPOV consultant and feature similar content to what is available in our public courses. They allow viewers to take the course over several days and team members can take from anywhere they would like. A look at our current eLearning offerings is available here.
